About the Membrane & Roller Press
A positive pressure membrane press is how PVC foil is wrapped onto a routed MDF shutter so that the foil follows every profile and radius without a joint. Vacuum pulls the foil down onto the panel, then positive air pressure above the membrane forces it into the detail while the heated table cures the adhesive.
The roller press is the flat-panel counterpart: a continuous nip roller that presses laminate onto board as it feeds through, at up to 50 metres per minute, for shops running high volumes of plain flat panels.
